well currently G.pulchripes is the senior (oldest valid) taxonomic name, so is the correct one - if it IS this Grammostola species here.. that was my first guess also though. but... aureostriata is better than pulchripes? You mean the translation of 'aureostriata' = golden stipes...? (aureo=gold, stiata=stripes), why is this any more descriptive about the bold leg color than the older name puchripes = pretty legs ? !!!??!
