So out of the 3 I purchased this one has held out for 5 weeks so far and seems to be doing pretty well. The other two were of different origin, one a native, Southeastern US species, the other sold to me as an Egyptian species. This one was labeled G. Geroldi.
My googling cannot confirm. I know these guys are often passed over due to their inadaptability, it seems, to captive care.. (considering the other 2 only lived for about a week and 3 weeks respectively) however if someone is more knowledgable about solifugid classification, I'd appreciate a confirmation on this one.
Also agree with @RezonantVoid , it is indeed a very fluffy boi. Unfortunately probably not a very goodboi since it’ll give you a heccin chomp with those nommers if it could.
