This is blurry, but is a picture of a juvenile sold to me as a B. Auratum. It does not look like one now that it is getting colors. It hides inside a small flowerpot and had to be coaxed out to photograph. It is approx 14 months old.
Same vendor did the same thing to me, same time frame, likely from the same batch of slings. Bought Brachypelma auratum, got Nhandu chromatus. Not sure what there is to be done about it at this point, though.

Thank you for the ID. I did not own any Nhandu Chromatus for live comparison. Fortunately, they are around the same price point, and are of a temperment I enjoy. The vendor will deny all culpability. I have had difficulties prior. It is unfortunate that I am not the only person who received the incorrect specimens.

On the bright side, the N. chromatus is likely 4 times the size a B. auratum would be at this point - which was another indicator that this wasn't the right species...
