So it's been about 4 or 5 days now since he molted and his fangs have darkened significantly I don't know if you can see them in the picture or not. he was at a better angle when I went to go grab my phone. Should I wait till they are solid black to feed him or would it be ok to feed him now?
@Moakmeister .......ok I just I know that question had probably been asked a dozen times before but I figured I would just ask because every t is different
It depends on the size of the T some of my adult females can take up to two weeks after a molt before they will take food. Some slings can eat a few days after a molt.
You should always wait for the fangs to turn dark before feeding if you can readily see them.
@Moakmeister .......yea I've been debating on what to feed it....i know the pet smart by my house has hornworms but I don't know if they are wild caught or not......ill have to ask when I go up there but other than that I've got crickets. I was wanting to feed it something interesting though haha
@Trenor.....yea they are starting to turn the tips of the fangs are black already but the rest is like a dark maroon color so I'm going to leave it alone. Hopefully they change in the next couple days
@Trenor@Moakmeister .......yea I think I need to find something to pass the time for me. With this being my first t I'm like a little kid with it hahaha. Maybe I need another t!!!! Hahaha ....I've been looking at the GBB's and they are very colorful and look outstanding. If it was up to me ide have every species of t's ......but my wife had a fit with just the one I have (just because how big it will get) lol
