@Trenor I am not saying you are incorrect but someone else told me that ventilation inn the top would let to much humidity out. WHO DO I BELIEVE!!!??!?!?
@YagerManJennsen It could, you don't want a lot of vent holes or even a screen(if you live in my dry air house). I only place a few small ones on top to prevent condensation from building up. I only open my enclosures to do work so with the heat and moisture(from the water dish/lightly damp sub) you can get some drops forming under the lid. You can always go without them and if you notice condensation then use a thumb tack to add a few in to fix it.
@Trenor Thanks! I still don't know if I am going to go through with the purchase of a pokie, seems like a big step. But Now I know in case I do decide to go through with it yay!
The cool thing about this enclosure is you can use it for any of the Avics or a P.cam. So if your not ready for the pokie it can still be used for lots of other Ts.
ive raised pokies for years with vent holes in the lid. they dont need it THAT humid. i prob have like 15 holes total for my pokie sling cages, theyre not fragile like avics. i prob have near a dozen holes on the lid. slings die a lot more from too moist conditions than too dry.
