Sold as Lampropelma Nigerrimum Female (Sangihe Black). Suspected Phormingochilus Arboricola (Borneo Black). Please help identify
The coloration makes me lean more towards L. nigerrimum. But I'm not 100% sure.
Thanks for your reply. So I’ve since gotten a confirmed female Nigerrimum and it is jet black from head to toe which. I was still unsure however bc the new one is an adult and I wondered whether they have different coloration as juveniles. I have found one photo online that shows L. Nigerrimum as above but otherwise fully black as was my understanding. I know they are sexual dimorphic but the males are so starkly different that I’m sure it’s female. I was also thinking cyriopagopus Sumatran tiger as the coloration is similar. One thing for sure is that it’s an earth tiger of some variety. In any case I hope you are right and this is just a color stage. But regardless it’s a beautiful species. Thanks again.
