"Entophagy," huh? I learned a new word and recipe today, and I'm not sure if I'm better for it...

@rally In Latin, entomophagy translates literally to "insect eating." entomo means insect, and phagy means to consume. ;)

I haven't tried the recipe yet, but I do have some excess Nauphoeta cinerea, so maybe I can cook some up sometime.

How's your colony been expanding per month? I'm finding with 2 enormous rubbermaid bins I have to unfortunately just burn like 3k roaches a month because of overpopulation and I remove around 250 adult males per week from both bins. They seem to reproduce exponentially ;-;! I can see in the pic you have more than one colony, how many roaches do you typically keep in one of those tubs? -Thanks, samantha

@Ciri Exponential reproduction should be expected before the carrying capacity of a population is reached. You could sell off your excess dubia if you think you have too many.

@Tenevanica Ahh so the population eventually sorts itself out? I live in an *inconspicuous province* in Canada so selling them isn't an option as they aren't legal to own here ;-;
