@Cas S if theyre not available? How did I get one? They are just a hard to find species nowadays apparantly but not impossible. I got lucky as I knew nothing about the species, I took it off some guy off of CL. Funny, Im all about em now.
@KezyGLA I could be wrong. This is all information Ive either read or seen on youtube but the P. CANCERIDES MALES can be a purple even blue or green while females tend to be brown. And the genus comes from the West Indes or Caribbean which is Haiti, Dom. Republic, Cuba and ranges to parts of South, Central America and Mexico.
@FraddyCat yes. Both male and females of P. cancerides can be any of those colours. There are many colour forms of cancerides. It is a problem as lazy breeders have mixed the colourforms instead of keeping them seperate.
@KezyGLA I did some looking of my own and I found P. cautus. I can't tell if the females are gold (like auratus) or purple. I found a mating video and both of the Ts where purple
