Thank you for replying. That's always a good thing.

Your pictures are usually very good, way above the average.

What I strongly is against is the beyond sensible saturation you add to your pictures. It looks cartonish. I don't think that is a good representation for our hobby.

As someone whose experience with photography consists of having seen pictures, I still think its beautiful. Lol. No offense to those who are more knowledgeable

Thanks for answering. I agree, my pics are saturated. I always use a speedlight to take them and that, by itselt, highlight their colors, sometimes a lot, even with a diffuser.

Just to give an idea, sometimes I need to fade their colors (B. boehmei, for example), otherwise, they get too strong, even to my eyes.

I can tell you, though, since I'm using a speedlight and made these kinda pictures my style, I always try to turn them more comfortoble to the eyes. Sure, I know, there's no way to please everybody when it comes to that matter.

As I'm not a seller, and again, that's the style I like, I don't think I'm being a cheater or dishonestly to anyone. People who've been following me all these years knows it.

To get a more natural colors, I need another lighting and other camera configs that I don't find so practical. I know how to do it, just like the other style better.

Again, thank you for you feedback and your time.

Just one last tip, for the future, when you are in disagreement with anybody, or didn't like something, let people know, not by pressing a button only. Healthy discussions and conversations are one of the best path for improvement. (at least imo)

Best regards. :)

It depends a lot like how people see photography. I dont think my pictures have an artistic side, but I consider photograph as an art, you know what I mean?

I made a poll on Instagram (which is a platform only for pictures and I understand 100% its different from AB) in which I posted some pictures in natural lighting. I asked which one people prefered, natural x speedlight and speedlight kinda took the lead.

So, it's not that I don't like natural pics, I explain my reasons on the answer above, but I can't deny I like how speedlight can highlight their colors, besides being more practical. Haha.

I understand the ones that don't like though.

Yes, I could be more humble in my replies.
No, adding a speedlight doesn't give that oversaturated color. It's all up to you and how you want us to view your spiders.
