I think I have a boy C. versicolor (I’ve had this T about a year, but this is the first time it hasn’t completely destroyed the sex organs portion of the molt). Just want to confirm!
I can't see it well. What size is it? Def by 3" DLS, females will have a white upper lip over their opening, males no. It's the easiest Avic, and T to sex w/out a molt.
Ah! Thanks for the info. This T is definitely well over 3”. I tried to get a good ventral pic this morning, but it looks like my camera’s flash might’ve reflected and obscured the area necessary to observe, so maybe not the best photo. I do have a closer photo of this T in its blue colors, but it would be a little less than 3” at that point, I’ve included both. I’m still leaning male…
