It's a beautiful spider, which part of Costa Rica was it? I'm very doubtful it will be Curicaberis ferrugineus. I see it matches well with other photos online labeled that, but i've never seen anything to justify it. The actual species was revised in 2015 to have a distribution from Texas through to northern Guatemala, with nothing for Costa Rica and south, except an old unchecked record for Brazil which is doubtless an error. I've seen several Curicaberis spp., and i'd be surprised if this is same genus.
