Some kind of soldier beetle I'd say. You're in the US. I'm in the UK. Wouldn't think of feeding it to your tarantula if that's what you're asking!

Think it sprays smelly stuff

Looks like a blister beetle, don’t touch them. They make a chemical which can cause blisters and can be painful.

@Gavhasacurly yeah i don't have a tarantula, but i wouldn't want to touch it or feed wild things to my scorpions.
