Caught this as it ran toward us (they can run up to 10 mph) at night near anza borrego state park. It's about 3in from head to butt, definitely terrifying compared to my scorpions. It's eating a cricket.
@xenesthis thanks for the info. Do you know anything else about it? Completely new to camel spiders, but the white stuff around the base of its legs kinda freaked me out... i mean along with its fangs and super fast speed.
