Well, it's kinda hard to see wince there's that smudge. But it's a male. Females will look different for sure. When my female was at 3'' here ventral started to resemble more of a furrow, which yours doesn't have. A male will have a black mark between the book lungs like yours, whereas the female will have a mustache like furrow that makes it very obvious.
@Liquifin just wanted to make sure. And looks like I need to clean the cage. I also think I should rehouse him as well. But I need to glue a display case to do that.
