I like this fuzzy one. Under a rock with several eggsacks in Grand Teton valley
@Jess S no clue! Never been in the States before. It didn't have much of a web and unlike Latrodectus sp. it has a very fuzzy abdomen. My guess is as good as yours!
 
I thought redbacks were the Aussie version of the black widows in the US?
I'm sure there's someone on here who'll know what it is.
 
@Jess S that's pretty much what they are, Latrodectus Hasselti is the main species and I THINK, is the only spider alongside the Sydney and Northern Tree Funnelwebs to have caused fatalities back home in Australia. Id look into that before spreading it around though. I know they are medically significant.

This one was very fuzzy and covered in a film of velvet hairs
 
Oops sorry! When I read your initial post I assumed Grand Teton Valley was somewhere near where you live in Australia! Lol. I've now googled it and now know it's in the States, which now makes sense of your replies!!

Geography was never my best subject!
