Sorry for the category mishap. Recently bought a G. Porteri (third T) as female, but "she" has been acting like a male. Can anyone tell from the pic? I can post images of the palps if needed, and they're apparently due to molt soon.
What do you mean, "acting like a male"? Wandering the enclosure? That's entirely normal for a T to do while it acclimates to its new enclosure. From the ventral, I see no indication of it being male, but it's also not a very clear picture.
Pic isn’t quite clear enough to tell if i see a dark spot of fusillae or not. If you thinknit might be a mature male, checking for palpal bulbs or tibial hooks will be your best bet.
