@ccTroi ok so I must be off then.now I am second guessing what I thought my last few molts were. I thought the 2 bumps where spermatheca. What are the male organs? I need someone to point me to a pic or diagram that will help me see the difference.
@Noah Blades Female spermathecae are fused together, and they have a very prominent uterus externus, in this species. It isn't like species where the female spermathecae are tube-like and they have a less obvious 'flap'. There are definitely species where it is far more difficult to tell if they are male, or female, organs - Thrixopelma is one of them. This species is much easier because of the structure of the spermathecae being very different.
Male organs are two, almost perfectly round, little circles spaced far apart and there is no sign of a uterus externus.

@Noah Blades You cannot compare Psalmopoeus spermathecae to Brachypelma - they are worlds different in their structure. That is why it is so important for people to include the species in this gallery. Spermathecae is very particular to each genus and can even differ significantly right down to a species level.
Psalmopoeus spermathecae are very tube like and are not fused together. Yes, your Psalmopoeus does look female.
