Cant see the furrow at all, which makes me think male...but chances are if its large enough to hold like that, its probably an adult female. Males rarely mature much over 2.25" IME and are obvious as they lose their coloration a bit.
 
Cold blood? Really? It could be a lady? Its about to molt. Shes got good color still. If you wouldnt mind looking at a picture of her in Holothele yesterday.

Oh, its a gold. I would say if it molts next, and isn't mature, its almost certainly female....odds are that's the case, but next molt should tell the tale...cause its not an easy one to see ventrally, for me at least.....as I said though, ventrally I would guess male.
 
Ok yes i was imagining the next would be a final. If its a male hes going to your house to make some babies!
 
I will try to snag it before it gets chewed. This little one loves to stay underground FOREVER before and after a molt.
