Idk why my BDFBs are so carnivorous! I give them dog food and plenty of vegetables. If any poor beetle that isn’t one of them comes in they eat their heads off lol
surprisingly to me, with my little group, one died recently and the others completely left the body alone. Other dead insects they do munch on of course.
I tried introducing other tenebs to diversify the tank but they aren’t having it lol a wooly, mealworm beetle, and that one is a super worm beetle all met the same fate
Strange, mine live peacefully with several other species of beetles. I have some wooly darklings, Nyctoporis and 2 species of unidentified tenebs in with them. They have been together about 2 years now.
