Moth

I found a egg sack laying on the ground in the park and this beautiful moth emerged one month later. I was sooooo excited!
Oh you can tell? I just read the ones with feathery antenna are the males but I have no idea lol
 
@BuzzSwole yup. If you look at her antennae it looks slightly feathery but nothing compared to a male’s antennae. When you put a male and female together it becoems pretty obvious.
 
I eieve you can leave her inside of a screen enclosure(make sure bo racoons, possums, lizards, bears, etc can’t get in) and try to lure a male moth that way. They are attracted to the pheromones and should come during night time.
 
Oh that I don’t know. Didn’t realize insects were capable of laying eggs without being fertile
