B smithi non binary
Could this be a tarantula that is neither male or female? Like an intersex spider. What do you think?
@spodermin now now, no need to be a bit harsh; although the idea of a non binary spider may sound non lausible there’s still a chance that rhey could potentially exist although I have no evidence to back it up. Also yes this individual needs more food and substrate and @Trincess just because a T doesn’t look sexable doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have a gender. Sometimes certain indiciduals are a bit more difficult to sex than others.

@Trincess looks like a suspect female to me but I usually rely on the molts for questionable T’s.

Don’t mind my boy @spodermin, he just rescued a few T’s that are in really bad shape due to very improper care. The situation has him triggered a little bit. He loves these guys.

Your T does appear very skinny though. I would offer her food every day until she puts on some weight.

As for the substrate issue, many terrestrial like to borrow if they can. They feel safer and more comfortable and it also helps keep the humidity up a little. She is climbing trying to get out because she doesn’t like it as her home. She could fall too. Also bad.
