Vent sexing is actually quite reliable in a lot of species (some are even easier to vent sex than they are to moult sex). Unfortunately, GBBs are one of those species that are a pain to vent sex, and to make things worse, they have a penchant for shredding moults
@The Grym Reaper yeah I should have been more specific. GBB Vent sexing is unreliable haha. I mean it seems like it’s more curved of a line to me, but idk for sure.
I'm not even going to hazard a guess, I went back and forth on my female until she was in pre-moult at around 3.5" when I was pretty sure she looked female, I literally snagged the moult the second she was free of it to confirm.
@The Grym Reaper I respect that lol. Unfortunately she JUST molted before I purchased her so I probably won’t know for a while. I’ll just continue to call her “she” until then xD
