P.irminia
I just got one, did some research on where they like to live, and shot myself in the foot, because I provided it with a hollow cork tube leaned up against another cork bark, and haven’t seen it since it discovered it. :(

Yeah, they do Like to hide. But (in my experience at least) Give them cork bark with a starter burrow or nice area to make a hide near the bottom and they will come out to perch on the bark every now and again.

Mine made a little funnel of dirt inside a cork bark tube. Hasn’t Came out in 2 weeks at least. Also sealed off the tube with web so I’m thinking premolt? She’s also roughly 1”. Left prekilled crickets but to nibbles yet.

That is definitely a pre-molt thing to do. The funnel is normal but the walling off is premolt. Mine doubled in size after it molted. just over 2 inches now. P.Irminias are absolutely gorgeous Ts, as that pic ^^^ shows. They have the same colors from sling to adult but as time goes on the blacks and oranges become more vibrant and really pop out.

@PhilMcWonder yeah that’s what I figured. It’s also not like her to not eat for that long. I mean the web isn’t super thick but there is web there at the entrance. Hoping it’s premolt haha. And if so can’t wait to see her after! Love watching this species eat.

Hey quick ?... Do the male and female both have the same coloring? As adult i mean..cus iv seen some that look more tan than black n orange? Can someone please lace me up on this beautiful species=0)
