@Liquifin I've owned that species too. Once they are about 2" in size, their bodies become more blue, the abdomen more red, and they have white tipped setae along with a yellow/straw yellow leg bands at the joints. The above isn't variegata that I've seen.
Also variegata is a very poofy Avic, quite similar to "metallica" and huriana in that respect.
@Noah Blades It's temporarily clarified things, but we need DNA analysis to improve. Some "species" were reported as unique species with very little info. Sweeping them under A. avic based on cladistics was the best they could do at the time.
This looks just like the avics for sale at one of the local uncle bills under avic avic. I bought one called avic avic at a different pet store that is huge and solid blue with white hair. Now I have no idea what it is. I will post a pic in a minute
