Davus pentaloris.C. fasciatum is what D. pentaloris used to be called - not to be confused with Davus fasciatus, which to my knowledge is not available in the hobby.
These were always Cyclosternum pentalore, the hobby incorrectly labeled them as Cyclosternum fasciatum (which has a black carapace). Both species have been revised to Davus.
@Typhon56 You are correct tho, sorta... They were originally described as Davus (1892). Then 90 years later (1982) Davus was considered a junior synonym of Cyclosternum. A few years ago the original Davus spp. were transferred back to Davus. Classic case of Taxonomists not agreeing with each other. Lol
@Typhon56 You should read the latest revision from Gabriel 2016, he does his best to straighten it all out... The name change history of the genera covered is mind boggling. Lol
