No pretty colors, not large, no fancy enclosures, and you never see them. They are just simply a bad*** spider. “Remember my name, MR. S. thomisoides.”
I keep reading that you "never seen them". Mine is out every morning. Maybe I'm just lucky....
 
I always know when to feed mine. I see it. It will be under for the next month or so, until it gets tummy grumbles.
 
Every six to eight weeks. I usually provide small/medium super worms. This was its first cricket, and it was quite interesting that it appeared the cricket succumbed to the bite much quicker than the worms. I have actually observed it drop flailing worms, retreat, and return after a few hours to feed. The cricket feeding was over in much less time, and there was no disengaging.
