Sold as Chilean Rose
I got it (not sure of the sex) as a sling. I was told it was a Chilean rose but just wanted to check and see for sure.
@CitizensOfTheWomb thanks for the info. I posted a ventral picture in the sexing subcategory. Not sure if the picture is clear enough to tell tho. He/she has about a 3" leg span. It seems agitated lately climbing up the sides of the terrarium a lot not sure what that's about.
 
@CitizensOfTheWomb I've had it for right at two years now. This is my first T so I don't have much to compare it to as far as growth rate but it does seem pretty slow. It doesn't hardly ever want to eat either. It'll go months refusing food.

I'm actually a bit surprised. That seems like fast growth for this species. Then again I only have one myself and have only had her a few months.
From what I've heard periods of fasting is normal for these guys.
 
I raised this species from a sling to a MM in about the same time. It tends to get quite warm here during the summer. Many of my tarantulas seems to grow faster than what I hear from others.
