Avicularia avicularia morphotype #6
Actually had a question about these AA M#6, how fast do these grow compared to other Avics or is it the same speed?
 
@RezonantVoid The rate is pretty much the same for most Avics more or less. A purp’s reported to grow more slowly, I’ve not experienced that.

A “geroldi” a little slow

A sp Kwitara River very slow in my experience, the slowest for me

Used to be known as metallica...recent revisions noted several ts which we seperated into their own species are actually geographical variants of A. avic....these variants still need to be kept seperate, so despite that they are all A. avics, there are now 6 variants...or morphotypes.
 
@PhilMcWonder Also, no DNA analysis was done on these Avics either. There are some taxonomists that believe in cladistics alone, and others which believe DNA and cladistics is better. In the case of Avics we could use some DNA.
