@Ungoliant Thank you for the heads up. So those beetles are not good to have in the tank as food. I could have swore I read that they were good. I ran out of supers and sticking to hornworms and good old fashioned crickets. But I will crush their heads next time I feed them to the crew.
The beetles are fine as feeders. The danger is if the tarantula molts, the mealworms/superworms and the adult beetle forms can start eating the tarantula.
Supers will often remain dormant until a food source presents its self...when a t molts, its the buffet table the worms or beetles are waiting for and they will eat your t, no matter how big and bad that t is.
