This is the same situation as I had in my last post. The previous owner called this girl a Texas Brown. I am thinking she's a Brazilian Red Rump. Please assist.
Common names are not good for identifying T.'s. Because many T.'s can share one name, therefore, scientific names are better suited for identifying T.'s. By the looks of it, it looks like some sort of Lasiodora species, but who knows, as all Lasiodora species look alike.
Google sais "Brazilian red rump" is G. iheringi/actaeon. This here definitely isn't. This is a "salmon pink birdeater" Lasiodora parahybana or any other Lasiodora.
