100% mature. They lose the ability to molt successfully (to my knowledge anyway)after gaining them so once you see the bulbs you know he is mature. How long ago did he last molt?
A bout 2 weeks ago I have a 4.5 inch female as well I'm thinking of breeding them, will be my first time breeding trantulas, still getting use to it all
@Jake w a he should have plenty of time left then. I can't actually keep these in Australia but from memory, there are 2 forms. The straight haired one is (I THINK) Nicaraguan form and the curly haired one is Hobby/Honduran form. If they are different forms it's generally looked down upon to hybridise them, so always check if both have either curly or straight hairs
