Cyclocosmia torreya (.25 inches) #2
Mine are containers of fruit-fly eating dirt, haha. In other words, my specimens are always in their burrows with the lids covering the entrance. I have a hard time catching them eat as well, I’ve only managed to see them use the trapdoors a handful of times, and I’ve only got it on camera once.
 
@Teds ts and Inverts I understand the feeling very well. I have about 40 trapdoors and burrowing primitives the last time I counted from various genus and to get a viewable feeding from them is near impossible. A camera shot of it happening is even rarer
