Brachypelma Boehmei Male/Female??

This is my first tarantula. They definitely have some long legs which is why I thought Male. They are about 5cm leg span. If it turns out to be female could it be explained why they have a male-like appearance, because she definitely doesn’t look like the chunky female I’d imagine.
With 5 cm (or about 2") DLS it's far, far away from being fully grown. At that size many Ts appear kinda leggy, whether male or female.
Do you have a picture of the T in question? You can post it right here or use the Brachypelma genus gallery: http://arachnoboards.com/gallery/categories/brachypelma.17/

And sorry, I can't tell anything with this picture. Maybe someone with more experience will be able to see something. ;)

@Thekla thanks for the response. On the picture I think there are 2 spermithica (light brown bulbs) that are quite separated. I’ll try and get a better pic and also a pic of the T itself

I think it's a female? Try lighting it from the bottom rather than the top, it makes it a little easier to see the spermatheca.

@KdeBruyn Now I see what you mean. I looked at the wrong angle. ;)

Yes, it looks female. Still, I learned recently that they can be confused with male accessory organs at this stage. So, I'll hold off my judgement. ;)
