What the.... These are eggsacks???

To me, those actually look more like moth cocoons. Possibly a Saturniid or other family of large moths. I'm not positive though

@PidderPeets nope 100% spiders, tons of little tiny molts on each one and a tiny hole chewed through the side

@RezonantVoid When I get home, I'll have to post pictures of some of my moth cocoons to show you how similar they look, outside and inside. I didn't know spiders could make dual layered eggsacs like that. Even the shape looks cocoon-like to me.

@REEFSPIDER oh wow I knew we had them but not that they make these bizarre eggsacks. They are pretty interesting when it comes to how they catch food

@REEFSPIDER we had one in the garden when I was about 6, the only thing I remember from that age is watching this spider fling a mace ball of silk around and never missing
