What the.... These are eggsacks???
Have literally never seen anything even close to this in all my time in Australia, not in any books, nature or the internet. This string of spider eggsacks blew onto the lawn in a small windstorm today
To me, those actually look more like moth cocoons. Possibly a Saturniid or other family of large moths. I'm not positive though
 
@RezonantVoid :eek: When I get home, I'll have to post pictures of some of my moth cocoons to show you how similar they look, outside and inside. I didn't know spiders could make dual layered eggsacs like that. Even the shape looks cocoon-like to me.
 
@REEFSPIDER we had one in the garden when I was about 6, the only thing I remember from that age is watching this spider fling a mace ball of silk around and never missing
