lol terrible people they should not sell any animals that they are not familiar with (in terms of common species). great that you questioned the sale and asked other people. to be relevant, yeah it's a G. pulchripes but some people like myself use G. aureostriata (the name is catchy and the latin reflects the physical features). good luck with your pretty T
well currently G.pulchripes is the senior (oldest valid) taxonomic name, so is the correct one - if it IS this Grammostola species here.. that was my first guess also though. but... aureostriata is better than pulchripes? You mean the translation of 'aureostriata' = golden stipes...? (aureo=gold, stiata=stripes), why is this any more descriptive about the bold leg color than the older name puchripes = pretty legs ? !!!??! (pulch =pretty, pes = feet/legs)
