Grammostola grossa Juvenile Female
I absolutely adore this species... they're like a silver tipped pulchra. They're hardy and easy to keep, faster growing than many in the genus, not as skittish as my iheringi and actaeon, and have the tolerance of my pulchra. Plus, they have an incredible appetite and never fast. They're fabulous.
@johnny quango You know what I find interesting? I got two spiderlings from the same egg sac - one male and one female. I feed them the same, they are kept at the same temperature, and the male is an inch smaller than the female.
They have both moulted very recently - her exuvia measured 3.5" and his measured 2.5".
 
@VanessaS That's pretty cool and a little unusual or at least I've never come across it I've only ever seen it in siblings of the same sex with my 2 P nigricolors. I certainly wouldn't have expected the female to be the larger of the 2 at this stage
