Avicularia avicularia?
Avicularia avicularia. Wife bought this one at Petco. Doesn’t look like any avics I’ve had before though. Any ideas?
Avics look a little different as slings. Give it a few molts and it'll start to show its adult patterning.

That’s it’s color as a spiderling. They grow pretty fast so it will look like an adult rather quickly. Like they said above “give it a few molts”

Standard juvenile colouration, most Avics look almost identical at this stage so you're best off waiting for a few moults before trying to get a species ID.

Avicularia avicularia is the member of the genus most commonly sold in pet stores over there though.

Wow. Thanks for all the replies. This forum is awesome. I’ve never had an avic juvenile. The coloring is stunning.
