Brachypelma hamorii [ventral sexing]
I'm new to this and am practicing but I'm thinking male. It'd be good to wait for a second opinion though. How big is it BTW?
 
@WildSpider thank you I'm guessing it doesn't matter too much? It's a pet for my daughter's birthday. He will be looked after no matter what the sex. I was just curious
 
@Rachelx91 It doesn't really matter. Some of the more experienced keepers even say they think a male is a better first T because you can see it mature faster and learn more about them at a quicker pace. Females are often hoped for by hobbyists too because they live longer than the males but either is good especially for a beginner.

Hope your daughter enjoys it :).
