Malaysian Jewel Centipede

Really happy to get a couple of these Jewels.
Seems like you dropped a chunk of change recently haha. Beautiful pede nonetheless! Think it’ll ever become ‘common’ in the hobby?

@Phormic28 I have no idea what breeding them is like, I don't know much about these as I've never actually kept one and probably won't for a long time.

@Nightstalker47 Thanks a lot. I have them cool at 65 right now. They were at 61 last night. One has itself buried and this one here is a female that has refused a roach but has nice body weight now.

If these didn't require such cool temps, or i had a spare wine cooler laying around I'd maybe try keeping these. For now i will just continue to marvel at the photographs.

@REEFSPIDER Cooling an extra room right now cause it's just too easy with the spare portable AC onhand and I can keep in a larger enclosure but you could probably do a small wine or energy drink chiller. Saw a Red Bull one tonight that would accommodate two pedes in smaller enclosures.
