I was thinking Male, as there is skin there but no visable flap you could move, the molt was 8inches so may get a sperm web soon would that sound about right or do u recon he may molt again?
@Jake w a If you want to check if he is a Mature Male, then check his pedipalps. Males would have bulbs use for mating. And no, Mature males will not molt anymore after maturity.
100% male, what your seeing are male accessory organs. Common mistake, if you would like to see what the spermathecae looks like on this species see this thread.
