@semmy juarez She has a very prominent white row of hairs that people sometimes call a moustache. Even though the photo is very blurry, that patch of hairs is very obvious. There are lots of ventral shots of females in the album here to search on and compare. Like this one...
@semmy juarez Handling is always done at a great risk to the tarantula - far more of a risk than a bite is to you. That risk increases tremendously if you are in any way nervous and/or you are unfamiliar with their behaviour. Even the slower species can sprint at high speeds and you need to be prepared for them to bolt. Even a fall from a couple of inches can be deadly with a heavy bodied terrestrial species.
@VanessaS i used to handle my rose hair but she got defensive after her molt. And my curly hair isn’t really defensive I can put straw in her face and she just try and move it away. But I think she is in pre molt she refuses food nowadays. Ima just leave her alone.
