Our growing collection

The collection is growing. I am really enjoying the hobby. Just wish it was easier to leave them alone. They require so little care I find myself harassing them for nothing. No wonder people end up with so many.
I started with like 4 scorpions and a whip spider and 8 months later I have like 36 different inverts and am breeding potentially endangered trapdoors XD the hobby is marvelous that's for sure, I'm sure your collection will be massive in no time

In many ways, that is the real beauty of the hobby. Everything requires such little maintenance and space that one person can easily own and care for a wide variety of creatures while still having plenty of time to do other things. Not to mention the personal satisfaction you get from watching your critters grow and observing their odd behaviors. It's a really amazing thing. Good luck holding back btw. Last January I had 1 tarantula....now I have 12. :D

There is an upcoming invertebrate/reptile show near me. I've all ready set aside more money than I should.

I really would Love some old world tarantulas. My wife and I decided to hold off on them. Our daughter is only 3. We are teaching her safety but are taking the cautious route.

I'll be looking for a 3" or so green bottle blue. Most of tarantulas are slings minus the zebra knee. I'd like some variation in age and size.
