An enclosure should be a maximum of 1.5x the leg span in height. I normally keep my adults in 12.7L bins, which are great for most species under 6" in leg span, but they aren't too good for burrowers; who usually require 4"+ of substrate . (p.s I'm out of stock on T's currently)
waaaaaaay to big, imo, and definitely not enough substrate. looks like a rosie? I keep mine in a 5g tank (with about 4-5" of coconut fiber) and that's almost even too much room for her as she hardly moves
Something more important is judging by the top rim of the tank, I'm guessing it has a mesh lid (I have one like it for a vinegaroon) and mesh lids can cause serious problems if they try to climb on it and get stuck, especially for these tanks since you can't slide the lid open if they are stuck on it.
If I'm wrong about it having a mesh lid, disregard my comment.
@Stormsky u r rite It does. I’m going to buy a see thru sheet of hard plastic to slide on there. And I don’t think my porteri is going to climbing any time soon, it’s in premolt.
