Centruroides Sculpturatus Mating?

They have been doing this for at least an hour and a half along with the male pushing and pulling the female around. I have so many videos and photos so if you want to see more just let me know
I would say they are probably doing a courtship dance. I love scorpions, if you have some more photos upload them and tag me in their comment section ;)

Yes they are mating. He will be trying to push/pull her over his sperm deposits.

@KezyGLA How far do they have to go? He didn't get very far before he freaked out and stung her. I actually recorded it, though I regret using a blacklight.
Over the day I am going to be posting more of the videos to youtube as well.

Yea depending on how strong your black light is you'll pretty quickly disturb them. Did they end up succeeding?

@RezonantVoid I have no idea what it would look like if they did. They both hid after this was taken though and they don't come out during the day. I'll check on them tonight to see how they're doing.

@RezonantVoid They all seem to be alive! The female in the pic was in the cave so I could only see the ends of her pincers, but I think she's fine and the other 2 were wondering around.
