Keep it humid (the dreaded word!) by having moist substrate. They might also appreciate 6" or so of substrate to burrow, but mine doesn't use it.

@Lyrognathus awesome, how long have you had yours? Can’t wait to rehouse when I get back to Miami. Do you have 6” of substrate for a 1” sling?

@Albino Characterantula I've had my male for just under a year. I use delicups, so my slings usually have between 2" to 4" of substrate.

@Albino Characterantula They like the substrate slightly damp.

Mine is a digger. I filled the deli cup half full with substrate, and it dug an elaborate burrow.
