I wish I had some lizards
That awesome I think modern Lizards are like the survivors of dinosaurs, just only a fraction of raptors intelligence. Maybe just related we’re did the feathers go??
 
Great shot. They have amazing eyes. The irregular margin of the iris allows them to completely close their pupil in bright light and there still is a row of small openings allowing them to see in those conditions.
 
@laservet Interesting! I was wondering why their pupil wasn't smooth like I've seen in all other animals. Very interesting adaptation, but aren't these geckos largely nocturnal? Why evolve such a specialized pupil?
