Grammostola pulchra
Aww, I purchased Beryl my first pulchra in February and I haven’t witnessed one moult yet. I’m pretty sure she’s had one because she buried herself for a couple of weeks and when she surfaced again she seemed bigger although not significantly, I had to try and remember if she had always been that size, one of those moments! She had a bulldoze evening 38 days ago and hasn’t resurfaced since, she’s not eating but is alive as I keep the substrate damp on one half and I can see an opening in the substrate underneath, I see her marching around when I pick up her enclosure!
However my new pulchra is (I’m thinking) a bit of a sh*t. Every time I walk in the spider room she sticks her bum in the air so high that it goes completely vertical and she looks like a spinning top. Every time. Without fail; she’ll hold the pose til I clear off. I thinking this doesn’t bode well for the future when she’s bigger, faster and has very intimidating fangs!!!
