enclosure for C. versicolor sling
I wanted something a bit more visible than a simple pill jar, so I fashioned this from a tooth pick package. Same height as the pill jar, but slightly wider. What do you guys think?
does it open from the bottom? if so,I would flip the bottle, the reason is because feeding it is going to be a really rough challenge in a enclosure like that. IME avics and C. versicolor web from top to bottom for slings and juveniles. Basically every time you feed it, you might destroy a huge portion of webbing depending on how it is webbed from the specimen.

@Liquifin Really? My avic did the opposite, which is why I'm trying the inverted design. I will prep another one just in case and watch what happens. Thanks for the warning.

function > design. Looks sweet as heck but opening from the bottom--I think--might give you more problems than if you were to flip it. But if this ends up working then you might be on to something. Set up looks very clean, might use your idea!

I think this design will work if you have the piece of wood hot glued to the top! Otherwise, every time you try to open it, no matter where the web is located, it will completely dislodge from anchor points.
