So sad!! So when a scorpion's eggs drop does that mean they were unfertilized and no longer viable? Just asking because I am new to scorpion care and tryin to learn as much as possible. Wondrous creatures scorpions are, and congrats on your H. Hottentotta brood!
 
Yes, scorpion eggs may drop whenever they are stressed/unfertilzed and yes they are no longer viable. The only reason that i can only think of is, I only mated her once then sold the male afterwards. Well we can learn from our mistakes, some co-hobyist told me that i should've mated her 2-3 more times, to make sure that the eggs fertilized.
