Not saying it's a A.chalcodes but my sling is about 1.25% is looks very similar to that...maybe not as dark. Probably something in the Aphonopelma family. Did they say what desert?
@BobBarley Good to know. The one that lives near me is commonly known as the Desert Brown or Salt Lake Brown. It doesn’t look anything like the one pictured. I have heard of an Aphonopelma commonly referred to as the Grand Canyon Black. Maybe it’s one of those.
